Top 5 Things to do at the Cheshire Show

There are lot’s of things to do at The Cheshire Show, so we will narrow it down to our top 5 attractions. 5)Countryside Experience If you’re visiting from a big city The Countryside Experience Area allows you to experience some traditional countryside activities and displays. Displays range from gun dog displays to falconry, and you can also take part in some archery or have a taster of clay shooting. 4)Roberts Bakery Food Halls We’re sure there is something for everyone here, and we’re sure if you’re a food lover then you will really enjoy this attraction. There’s a live theatre programme that allows the culinary skills of local chefs, students and companies to be showcased using local produce. There is also like to be celebrity chefs there to support the local produce message. More information is yet to be announced so make sure you keep an eye on The Cheshire Show website 3)Vintage Machinery The Cheshire show is keen to showcase all that is good about farming including new technologies and machinery. But, the vintage machinery gives you the opportunity to look back at the machinery of the past, there will be some stationary engines, tractors and cars and also working demonstrations to give you a greater insight into how farming and agriculture has evolved. 2) Dog Show Pckmere is a dog friendly guest house so we couldn’t not recommend the dog show. New this year there will be a companion dog show on both days of the show at midday so why not take your dog a long and who knows, you may be leaving with a rosette. There will also be shows in the main breed groups including; Terrior, Working, Toys and utility, there will be best in breed being judged and also best in show at the end of the Cheshire Show. 1)Livestock You can’t visit The Cheshire Show without paying a visit to the livestock. A very educational attraction that includes animals such as cattle, sheep, goats and pigs, they will be competing for trophies to. There are a huge variety of breeds of cattle so we recommend that you visit to see how much of a variation there is there will be Dexter cattle, which are the smallest breed of cattle and South Devons, these are the largest cattle and there will also be everything in between. Also be sure to get a glimpse of the other spectacular livestock at The Cheshire County Show.
