Welcoming Your Four Legged Friends
At Pickmere Country House, we warmly welcome adult, house-trained, and well-behaved dogs. We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, and we strive to make both you and your pets feel at home.
  • Pet Fee: There is a charge of £8 per dog, per night.
  • Furniture Policy: For everyone's comfort, dogs are not permitted on any furniture, including beds.
  • Leaving Pets Alone: Dogs may be left alone in rooms only with prior authorisation from the owners of Pickmere Country House.
  • Dining Room Access: Dogs are welcome in the guest dining room and sitting room, provided that other diners do not object.
  • Outdoor Areas: Please use the village's facilities for dog toileting. The picturesque Pickmere Lake is just a 5-minute walk away, and when it’s dark, a wide grass verge up to The Red Lion pub is available.

Forgot something for your dog? We’ve got you covered with spare bowls, leads, towels, and bedding available upon request.

Charlie

Meet our beloved resident Borodor Charlie! With his sweet nature and friendly disposition, Charlie is always eager to welcome our guests and their four-legged friends.

He loves making new canine companions and will surely add a warm, furry touch to your stay.

A Borodor is a mixed breed ½ chocolate lab and ½ Border Collie.
