Dog Policy

We welcome adult, house-trained and well-behaved dogs with responsible owners. There is a charge of £8 per dog per night.
Dogs are not allowed on any furniture, including beds, and may only be left alone in the rooms with prior authorisation of the owners of Pickmere Country House
Dogs may come down to the guest dining room and sitting room, but other dinners should be asked if they object
The Garden and carpark are not to be used as a dog toilet. The lake in the village is just 5 minutes walk away and when dark there is a wide grass verge up to The Red Lion pub
There are many walks in and around the village. A walk around the lake takes about 45 minutes. Nearby there are some lovely walks in Neumann’s Flashes, Anderton Boat Lift and Marbury Country Park. Within half an hour there are walks in Delamere Forest, Macclesfield Forest, Alderley Edge, Tegg’s Nose and a bit further away is there are walks down the Sandstone Trail and the Peak District
If you have forgotten anything for your dog we have spare bowls, leads, towels and bedding
